영국 Pulsar Instruments PLC의 일반형 소음계(noise exposure meter) 모델 Assessor 81A 소개 포스팅입니다.
클래스1 급의 모델 Assessor 81A 는 일정 소음 레벨 이상의 소음에 노출된 시간을 적산하여 보여주는 소음계로, 장치를 켜서 측정을 시작한 후 정지 버튼으로 측정을 완료하면 평가에 필요한 모든 내용이 한 화면에 표시되도록 하는 매우 단순하고 사용하기 쉬운 구조를 채택하였습니다.
A가중치의 Leq 혹은 평균 소음 레벨(average noise level)은 순간적인 소음 발생원에 대해 함께 검토할 수 있도록 C가중치 피크 값과 함께 표시됩니다.
Assessor 81A은 예상 노출 시간을 함께 표시하도록 하여 더 오랜 시간에 걸쳐 측정할 경우 예상되는 소음 노출도(Lex,8)를 추정합니다. 예를 들어 기계 작동 시 발생하는 소음을 2분 동안 측정하고 LAeq 값이 92.6dB(A)인 경우 모델 81A는 서로 다른 노출 시간을 기준으로 Lex,8 값을 계산합니다.

weighted Peak value which is displayed on the right-hand side of the
screen
